Case Manager
Sutarshia Johnson joined Project Guardianship in March of 2022. She has passionately worked in social services for over 15 years. Over her career, she has worked as an outreach worker linking those most vulnerable in the street to desperately needed care. In addition to this, she worked with both OMH and DOHMH with persons who transition from state psychiatric hospitalizations back into the community with wrap-around services. One highlight in her career was planning a prom for over 60 residents in supportive housing. It was important to share an artistic entertaining function partnered with community support for clients range in an age range from 19 to 72 years old, who never were celebrated. Sutarshia is passionate about advocacy, one of her favorite quotes being: “It is important to stand up for those who’s voices and needs fall on deaf ears!” She graduated from The College of New Rochelle. #CNRBlueAngel
