Project Guardianship applies a strong race equity lens to our direct service and advocacy work, our governance, our internal culture, and our ways of doing business.
We bring a strong level of commitment to improving the lives of individuals within the guardianship system and in drawing attention to the need to apply a racial justice lens to the area of guardianship.
With proven strategies to ensure that its direct service delivery model and advocacy work are equitable — Project Guardianship works against the root causes of inequity to combat racial, ethnic, and social disparities in the guardianship system and in the elder care and persons with disabilities safety nets.
We also integrate inclusion strategies to combat institutional and structural racism with our policies and practices related to staff development, hiring, and board development.
Racial equity and inclusion is an explicit part of the Project Guardianship mission and values.
