Marjorie Cadogan is the Executive Deputy Commissioner, Office of Chief Program Officer—Supportive Programs and Initiatives at the NYC Department of Social Services. Prior to this, she was the Executive Deputy Commissioner Office of Citywide Health Insurance Access at the NYC Human Resources Administration/Department of Social Services, a role she held for almost 18 years. Previously, Ms. Cadogan was Director of Operations and External Affairs for Primary Care Development Corporation; General Counsel, NYC Department of Parks and Recreation; and Deputy Assistant Chief, NYC Law Department.
Marjorie Cadogan holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of the arts, magna cum laude from Fordham University. She is admitted to the New York bar. Marjorie has been a member of many organizations: Bronx Community Healthcare Network (board member, current); Astor Services for Children and Families (committee member, current); Herman Biggs Society (current member, past Co-chair); New York Academy of Medicine (current member, Health Care Delivery Section); Advisory Panel for Outreach and Education, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (Vice Chair and panel member roles); New York State Health Foundation (member, Community Advisory Committee); New York Women’s Foundation (board member); and the Association of Black Women Attorneys (member, current and past President).
