Deputy Director of Legal Services
Dre joined Project Guardianship in December of 2021. He weaves experience in criminal, civil, and family law, making him adept at serving on behalf of our clients in the most complex cases. Just prior to joining Project Guardianship, Dre worked as a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society where he provided trauma-informed advocacy for survivors of domestic violence. In the past, he has worked at the law offices of several distinguished practitioners in New York and New Jersey where is admitted to practice.
Dre graduated from Sarah Lawrence with a BA in investigative journalism, and went on to complete his JD at George Washington University School of Law where he earned several awards of recognition and was a member of the Lambda LGBTQ Law Alliance, a screener at the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, and a volunteer at the International Refugee Assistance Project.
