Project Guardianship serves persons who may be in at-risk scenarios related to their immigration and/or residency status. These individuals may face many challenges including: possible deportation, family separation, denial of income or government benefits, difficulty accessing benefits from another country or jurisdiction (e.g., pension income from a foreign country), and housing loss through exploitative and discriminatory landlord practices.
We work through these immigration and residency matters of potential great impact to our clients, while also attending to other matters related to their personal affairs, medical care, housing, benefits, etc. When necessary, we may refer a case to an outside consultant or legal provider for additional client support.
